Food Runner / Expo person needed. Nights and weekends. Fast paced environment. Training provided.
Our restaurant is looking for a motivated food runner to support our staff and improve the dining experience for our customers.

Responsibilities and Duties

The successful applicant will be expected to relay important information between management, kitchen staff and servers, as well as customers and servers. During our busy hours, we expect the food runner to assist servers, performing any tasks necessary to ensure a high-quality customer experience. Not only will the ideal candidate have great communication skills, but also will be ready to work in a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail and the ability to multi-task. Help prepping sauces and meals off the line and running food to tables as well as some bussing. Must be organized and efficient.

Front of House Manager Job Summary

The Front of House Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation and management of the main restaurant, expo, and staffing and scheduling employees (servers and bartenders), as well as help in catering operations from time to time.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage a team of front of house staff including scheduling, training, and general supervision

• Oversee that all closing duties are completed correctly and maintained properly

• Responsible for correct and proper operation of the POS systems

• Closing and counting nightly cash drawers

• Providing excellent customer service to guests and excellent leadership to employees

• Enforce and monitor all health, safety, and sanitation standards

• Handle guest complaints appropriately

Qualifications and Skills

• 2+ years restaurant experience

• Expo, Bartending and Serving Experience a MUST

• Excellent customer service skills

• Organized and capable of multi-tasking with attention to detail

• Knowledge of Microsoft applications including word and excel

• High standards of personal hygiene and personal appearances

• Ability to be on feet for several hours at a time

• Experience using POS systems

• Servsafe training preferred

Common shifts would be:

Wednesdays & Thursdays 4pm-Close (11/12pm)
Fridays 4pm-Close (1am/3am)

Saturdays 4pm-Close (1am/3am),

Sundays 4pm-Close (10/11pm).

You won't have to close every night every week, depends on staff and scheduling.

Total Hours would be 30-40 per week.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $13.00 to $17.00 /hour
